As the days grow shorter and the natural world begins drawing its energy inward, our bodies are invited into a different rhythm. Winter asks us to conserve energy, tend our inner reserves and cultivate warmth and steadiness—not by becoming stagnant, but by learning how to move between effort and rest with greater awareness.
In this workshop, we’ll explore practices for winter resilience through yoga, pranayama, Ayurveda, guided reflection and deep restorative rest. We’ll work with grounding, warming movement and breath, seasonal self-care practices and simple rhythms that support the nervous system as we transition into the colder months.
We’ll also explore the Ayurvedic practice of abhyanga, self-massage with warm herbal oil, and reflect on where your energy is asking to go this winter. Through journaling and guided inquiry, you’ll create a personal Winter Declaration—a clear, grounding intention for how you want to nourish your body, tend your energy and keep your inner fire alive throughout the season.
You’ll leave with a simple winter routine you can return to at home, practical tools for supporting warmth and resilience, herbal body oil for your own abhyanga practice, and a deeper sense of what it means to move through winter feeling grounded, nourished and connected to your vitality.
