Imbolc Full Moon Women's Circle
As the first stirrings of spring quicken beneath the soil, moving quietly in the womb of winter, we gather to honor Imbolc (Imbolg)—one of the eight seasonal festivals of the Celtic Wheel of the Year that mark nature’s cycles of birth, growth, decay and rebirth.
Celebrated at the midpoint between the Winter Solstice (Yule) and the Spring Equinox (Ostara), Imbolc heralds the gradual return of light, inspiration and new life. Traditionally associated with the birth of the first lambs of the season, this time marks the renewal of nourishment as milk begins to flow again—symbolizing sustenance, care and the soft reawakening of the land.
This gathering is an invitation to slow down, turn inward, and listen for what is beginning to awaken within you. Imbolc reminds us that transformation rarely arrives all at once; it begins quietly, through warmth, devotion and attentive care.
Guided by seasonal wisdom and Celtic tradition, we will also honor Brigid—keeper of the flame, guardian of the sacred wells, and patroness of creativity, healing, renewal, and fertility.
Our afternoon together will include ritual, seasonal reflection, devotional crafting and communal singing. We’ll work with symbol and intention, tending the inner hearth and offering our attention to the small sparks—ideas, prayers, longings and visions—ready to be gently nurtured as the light returns.
Facilitated by Havalyn Raeuber, Allison Welder & Mina Isabel Shahriary
